Kobo’s Wi-Fi Touch E-reader unveiled
Kobo Inc, the Canadian company, has churned out a brand new e-reader of e-ink, known as Kobo WiFi Touch Edition of its e-reader.
The famous infrared technology of Neonode has been merged in the new e-reader manufactured by Kobo, which is seen in the touchscreen e- reader of Sony.
The recent generation of E-Ink, Pearl e-ink with a display of 6 inches is highlighted by Kobo WiFi Touch edition e-reader. The price of the e-reader is $129.99. You can get hold of the reader anytime this summer.
The infrared technology of Neonode is responsible for the new interface offered by the Kobo WiFi Touch Edition of e-reader. The swiping experience is much smoother and there are a bunch of other great features as well.
The device has a screen of 6 inches and the flipping of pages by users is smooth due to the swiping action. A Freescall CPU is the processor on which the e-reader will be running.
There is built-in storage space of 1GB and there is a storage slot for removable SD card of up to 32 GB. The space is enough to store almost 30,000 books.
The connectivity of the Kobo WiFi Touch Edition of e-reader is enhanced with USB and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi options. The battery life of the e-reader has also been improved considerably, and the color options available are silver, lilac and black.
