French Toast - Serves 2
4 pieces of bread
2 eggs
½ cup whole milk
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoon butter
½ cup raspberries
Maple syrup
Powdered sugar
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, extract, and spices.
Place a pan over medium heat and melt the butter.
Dip the bread into the mix that you made with eggs, milk and spices,
coating generously,
and place in hot pan.
Cook up to 5 minutes each side or until a nice golden brown.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar,
drizzle with maple syrup,
and top the raspberries.
