However, if you continue doing only one type of exercise, then it will be of no help. If you indulge only in cardio exercises or end up performing more than required cardiovascular exercises, then it will only cause harm to your muscles.

Hence, in order to reduce weight around your belly, you will have to combine various exercises and do only as much as is required.

5. Control Cortisol:

Many people who have already been dieting know that belly fat refuses to go away even after years of effort. This is because of cortisol.

Cortisol is essentially a kind of hormone released by our body, when it faces stress. A high cortisol level implies that the blood sugar level will be elevated as well.

This further leads to an increased belly fat. Hence, it is important to control cortisol in your body.
