GOOGLE STRIKES AGAIN! WATCH OUT GMAIL TAP TECHNOLOGY

Phone calls or instant messages through sms technology are so last year for most of us!

While mostly everyone has a smartphone, we transferred most of our communication via internet.

But at this large amount of usage we are expecting improvements every day.

We want it faster and easier to access!

So, Google team thought it was about time for a revolution in writing emails and so was born Gmail Tap.

Watch out! It’s based only on two keys! 2! As they start on their page, “tap into the future of writing emails on the go”. What they propose? Reinventing the Morse code.

Maybe you will ask why, after so many years, when we have full qwerty keyboards on every gadget.

The answer is simple:

only the letters mean 26 characters, not to count punctuation marks and numbers.

So, they came with an innovation:

an app for smartphones that converts the ordinary keyboard into a more simple one with only three keys, one for space and the other two consisting in a dot and a dash for letters and numbers.

Sounds more than interesting. But they even go further and pushing the boarders of writing so that you can type two mails at a time!

Yes, you heard well:

two mails at a time! How is that possible? Trust me, I don’t know. I also believed that you can’t do two exact same things at the same time, strictly speaking.

Yes, listening to music, speaking and chatting or whatever combination of things that differs at least for a bit.

But bringing multitasking at this level seems a little bit too far.

So far it seems more efficient by abolishing the so-called restrictive qwerty keyboards. But let’s make a deeper analysis.

This is the morse code.

The equivalent number of morse characters for typing once each classical character means an amount of 132 for 36 characters which means not less than 4 (3.66) types to one by making the average. Doesn’t sounds so efficient to me as they say.

But the presentation sounds convincing and I said to myself why not try it and see how it really works! But when I tied to download the app it appears this message: “Oops! Gmail Tap is a bit too popular right now.

We suggest you try downloading it again next year.

” I am an ambitious one, so I tried once more. What went next? “Still trying to download Gmail Tap? Check back next year see if it is available...you never know.”
