Nokia Simplifies Its Naming Convention
Nokia is trying to make a comeback in the mobile phone arena. After being in the limelight and grabbing consumer’s attention for some decades now, it took a slow pace with introducing its niche creations. Consumers have not seen the best of phones from their favourite brand since last year.
Nokia has decided to make a super stylish and hi-tech comeback to woo its dedicated consumers. It will introduce a marvellous range of smartphones equipped with the best and latest technology. Nokia is also trying to simplify many things on customer end to make smartphone usage a better and enhanced experience.
Currently, it has decided to bid farewell to its complex and hard to remember prefixes. You could have noticed that Nokia came up with prefixes such as the following listed below:
• "N"
• "E"
• "X"
• "C"
In case, you were confused due to ambiguous Nokia mobile phone names such as Nokia C3 and C3-01or theX2 and X2-01, you were not alone. Almost all Nokia consumers have to undergo this confusion. The prefixes were the real culprit.
People have been face a real hard time classifying Nokia phones. The weird naming arrangement should be blamed for this.
The good news here is that Nokia has accredited the subject now. It has ultimately decided to abandon the present naming convention. The decision has been for the well-being of the consumers.
Nokia customers will be happy to know that the brand has recently come up with a plan. The Nokia 500 is stated as the end of the confusing naming system.
The official blog of Nokia recently declared that phones in the present times are equipped with highly adaptable software and hardware. The phones will allow you to do whatever you desire.
Hence, you should avoid labelling them via using prefixes that are task-specific prefixes. The classic example of task oriented prefixes includes E which stands for business class phones and N that refers to as multimedia phones. Many people find it really hard to differentiate between a C7 Nokia phone and X7.
The best solution to get away from these problems is to introduce a new naming scheme. Nokia decided to come up with a scheme that is based on plain logic.
The bigger the number of the model gets, the more you can expect. This decision indicates that Nokia has finally won over the naming issue. Now, there will be no confusion related to names of the model.
