Movie on Smartphone is the Largest Stop-motion Animation across the Globe
Smartphones are the demand of the present world. People living in the modern world cannot live without it. This is because smartphone can do a lot of things for humankind that were unimaginable a few years ago, at least via using a hand held phone.
So what all do you think can be accomplished via using a smartphone? Well, can you imagine, making world’s largest animation using a patient actor and a humungous crane?
No. However, this is true. The latest news has it that movie made on smartphone is the world’s largest animation (stop-motion)!
Two multi-talented directors working and using the Sumo Science name have recently come up with their bundle of joy. Yes. This baby has just entered into the world as the largest stop-motion animation across the globe.
It has been shot entirely on Nokia N8 smartphone. Actually, Nokia haspromoted its N8 via some impressive projects similar to this. Nokia Shorts is the latest movie competition that uses smartphone.
The directors of the movie, Will StuddandEd Patterson have worked really hard on the project. Coincidentally, these talented professionals also happen to be an integral part of Aardman, the animation studio that has won British Oscar.
This studio has also been responsible for likes of Wallace &Gromit, that created Gulp on Pendine Beach in Wales. This was filmed via distending across 11,000 phenomenal square feet. This is actually a record for a stop-motion movie. The Guinness World Records has confirmed this record.
According to Studd, the story of the phenomenal seventy four second short goes as the following described below:
1. A man catches fish.
2. This makes the man become bait for bigger fish.
3. Now the man gets swallowed by bigger fish.
4. The luck is with the man.
5. He accidentally sets off chain reaction.
6. At last, hespats out of bigger fish.
The short is a combined effort. Many skilled sand artists and animation students from all across the United Kingdom contributed their bit to develop exquisite scenery using rakes, stencils, and a number of props.
Since the short was an animation, the 12 megapixel stills camera of Nokia N8 was used. Surprisingly, it was not the video camera that shot all the action.
Creating a stop-motion movie is anarduousprocedure. One requires setting up each individual frame thoroughlyprior to getting it captured. The crew took about sixteen long hours to shoot one twenty-second lot of the movie. However, the pain was worth taking. The results are remarkable.
