We are modern, our lives really start in our 30s and we reach our top at 50.
Considering this, the sociologists are talking about trans-ageism (perturbation of the age codes) and about trans-age woman.
You can have 35 and be considered a kiddo without feeling derided.
All these are just because of the techno-bio-medical progress and of the bigger expectations of how and how much we live.
Let's not fool ourselves, though. Passing of the time means aging and middle age is a stage full with tension. The most difficult issue that you can confront with in this period is the change impelled by the transformation: "becoming older" includes the maladjustment of the physique and mindset according to a different clothing, make-up and attitude. The brain reacts messy when it comes to changes!
Usually, in fighting time, women make a part of the mistakes below. Realize them, ask yourself if you make them and try to correct them or avoid them.
1. You don't realize that you have to change in some degree
If you want to grow old beautifully and gracious, you will have to make some changes:
the make-up, clothes, hairstyle from 20 (which used to make you feel fresh and happy) are not going to be in tune with what you mean in your 50s. Your physique needs another kind of makeup or other clothes for a natural look and not ridiculous.
2. Don't spend too much money on clothes.
If you don't have a body like Madonna, Helen Mirren or other celebrity form Hollywood, there will come a day when a swimming suit from bargains won't look good on you, meaning you won't be able to look shinny even with low quality items because sun and beach are not enough.
It's time to invest in the quality of your clothes more than in youth.
3. You compare yourself with the "you" from your 20s.
Don't become depressed if you don't feel as beautiful as in your 20s, every age has its charm and it would be rather unnatural to look exactly like then.
Take care to look as well as you can, to be healthy and preoccupy yourself permanently about the external and inner beauty, but don't re-create your body and face that you had decades ago.
4. You quit training.
You are more and more tempted to forget about the hours spent at the gym and excuses you can find enough.
Totally incorrect: sports will help you preventing cardio affections, diabetes, and dementia and having a toned and firm body-build. Maybe you can't run, but swim, practice yoga, Pilates.
5. You sleep less.
Kids, career, husband, parents that you have to take care of, all these mean less hours for sleep and your face will tell this to everyone you meet:
how many times didn't you hear "you look tired"? Re-organize yourself and offer yourself those 8 hours to sleep that will keep your balance.
6. You ignore your teeth.
You focus yourself on correcting your wrinkles and regenerating your hair and you forgot about your smile?
The teeth's color can make you look older than you are and then, the problems with teeth are associated with heart and general health problems. So, don't jump the appointments at your dentist.
7. Anti-aging efforts above the normal
No one wants to see herself in the mirror full of wrinkles, but also no one wants to see a plastic face, excessive Botox is quite scary.
8. You are pleased with a boring sex life.
Not only have the young ones had the right to pleasure:
you can be anytime sexy, you only have to be confident, to feel free, with no prejudgments. Explore your sexual needs at every age. Most women have sex for pleasure and fun only in their 50s and also then start to experiment for the first time the most intense pleasures.
So, learn to accept the passage of the time and to enjoy every year from your life and to discover its charm.
