There are several measures that you can take in this regard. Here are some tips to combat stress:
Say "No"
Most of the stress women tend to take is because they do not know the art of saying ‘no’. Do you say no to your boss?
If no then you can suffer from stress and its impact all your life. Understand there are only twenty four hours in a day and you can work just for 8 hours.
Working more will leave you exhausted; leave you with no time for yourself and your family.
This will lead to deterioration of your health and irritability. Learn to say no when you don’t want to take up some work or responsibility.
You have responsibility towards your health, family and spouse. Do what you can and say ‘NO’ to the rest. This will keep you happy and healthy for life. Stress will have no place in your life.
Take out time for family
Setting aside some time for your family is a sure shot stress buster. This is not as difficult as most people find it.
All you require doing is to modulate your calendar in a way to dedicate special nights for family. The idea is to spend quality time with each other. Go for outings, have a romantic dinner or think of something creative.
Develop a hobby
This is a fantastic stress buster. Try to indulge in something you always wanted to do. Do pottery, candle making, drawing, painting, singing, writing or any other thing that has always caught your fancy.
The idea is to do something that will make you happy and give creative satisfaction. This will help you keep stress at bay.
Take a break
This is really important to keep stress miles away from you. Take a break from work and go out for a holiday with your family at least once in a year.
Every workplace has provisions for their employees related to holidays. Talk to your employer regarding this.
Going out with your family to new places will allow you to keep stress away. This is quite rejuvenating. You can be on your own without work and boring regular activities of daily life. Change is important.
